The Fine Print

Lauren Asher

Zahra, 11

4.5/5

The Fine Print is a fiction/romance novel written by Lauren Asher. Rowan, a businessman with two brothers, is taking on his grandfather's business of owning theme parks, 5-star hotels, production companies and more. Zahra, an employee of his, often runs late but is a great asset to the business. All things were great until Rowan messed it up. The Fine Print is the first book in the series of standalone novels consisting of billionaire brothers.

The Fine Print is a great romance novel that discusses important relationship issues that can occur. I really enjoyed multiple different parts and aspects of the book. Both Rowan and Zahra had multiple relatable characteristics to them that made me enjoy the book even more. One of my favourite parts of the book was the banter and arguing back and forth between the two main characters. I also really liked the side characters including Zahra’s sister and Rowan’s grandfather. The reason why I gave it a 4.5 and not a 5 is because the plot was a little predictable. Although I knew it was a romance book, certain parts were just expected to happen. Since this is a series with his brothers, I liked the mention of them. It provides a little insight of the characters that allow the readers to be curious about their stories and the next books. I am looking forward to continuing to read the next books in the series with the different brothers.

The age rating would be 15 and up. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance novels and enjoys a good story.
