Services: Getting Started

Our Services

At the Barrie Public Library we strive to offer services that meet the needs of our community. Please see Stay Safe Guidelines for information on safety protocols in place during the provinces Roadmap to Reopening.

Our buildings are open to in-library visits!

Computers at both branches are available to library cardholders to use for up to 60 minutes each day.

Internet Guest Cards are available for anyone that only wants to use the public computers. All users must agree to the terms of our Public Internet and Computer Use Policy.

Our public computers have Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel.

Wi-Fi is available throughout and around our buildings during open hours. There is no password – just connect to the Barrie Public Library network and accept the user agreement.

Photocopying, Printing & Scanning

Photocopying, printing and scanning to email is available, at both locations, in black & white or colour at a cost of 20 cents per page.

We do not offer fax services.
