Can't Find What You're Looking For in Our Catalogue?

If you can't find an item in myBPL see the options below:

Getting Started with myBPL, our online catalogue

myBPL is our new online library catalogue. It can be used to search for physical items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, music CDs. You can also find electronic resources such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, online courses, eMagazines and newspapers.

You must create an account before you can save items, request holds, or make suggestions for purchase through the catalogue. Register by going to the myBPL login page and entering your library barcode and PIN.

Visit this page for detailed information about myBPL including FAQs and links to tutorials and walkthrough videos.

Using Kobo eReaders to read eBooks

Our eBooks can be read on dedicated eReaders, such as a Kobo or Nook. These are devices that specialize in displaying eBooks but are lighter and less expensive than an iPad or Android tablet, for example.

See the cloudLibrary website for which e-readers are supported by Apple Mac and Windows computers.

The guides below contain more details on using eReaders to read books from cloudLibrary, our main eBook provider:

Help with cloudLibrary

Get started reading eBooks by viewing our tutorial, cloudLibrary - eBooks and Audiobooks. It goes through how to read eBooks and eAudiobooks on different devices and lists solutions for common issues.

See our cloudLibrary FAQs list for answers to quick questions about what the service is.
