Tech Coach
Have a tech question or issue you need help with? Book a one-on-one Tech Coach session with our staff using the form below. They can help you with a variety of technology or help you navigate our Digital Library! Tech Coach sessions are available at all locations.
Available topics include:
- eBooks and eAudiobooks
- Digital Library resources
- Basic computer help
- Basic internet help
- Tablet, phone, or laptop assistance
- Simple tablet, phone, or laptop troubleshooting
Please note we reserve the right to determine if your technology needs can be met by staff. If we are not able to help with a specific technology-related question, we may be able to suggest alternative resources in the community.
Genealogy Coach
Need help figuring out how to start your family history research or explore library resources? Book a one-hour one-on-one Genealogy Coach session with library staff using the form below. They will help you learn to navigate our genealogy databases and collections. Available at our Downtown and Holly location.
Available topics include:
- Ancestry Library/FamilySearch
- Microfilm scanner (only available Downtown)
- Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) Collection (only available Downtown)
- How to locate Birth/Death/Marriage information (only available Downtown)
Cricut Coach
If you're short on time but would like to ask questions or create a small project with the Cricut Explore Air 2, visit our Holly branch for a Drop-in Cricut Coach!
These sessions will help you along your Cricut journey. We have limited supplies available for demos. For projects please bring your own materials. You're invited to bring your own device with your project at the ready in Cricut Design, or make use of the Library's iPad for design and printing complete with access to subscription projects and stock images.
Please note that Cricut Coaches are not able to provide ongoing appointments to be used as tutoring sessions.
