Book our Yamaha Digital Piano at the Downtown Library! 

Music is an essential part of our creative lives. Learning and practicing an instrument helps ease stress and improves our brain chemistry. BPL is offering one-hour sessions with our new digital piano, open to all aspiring students and teachers, or casual players alike.

Reservation Details:

• Sessions may be booked for one-hour, up to 7 days in advance
• One booking per day, per person
• Available 10 to 8 Monday-Thursday, and 10 to 4 Friday-Sunday
• Full Library Card is required to book sessions
• Players will be asked to check-in at front desk upon arrival
• Sessions are available to book online through the library website here, or through our Ask Us service by phone or email

Piano Details:

• Yamaha Arius digital piano – Standard Series YDP-240
• Piano sound sampled from Yamaha CFX concert grand piano
• 88 keys
• GH3 keyboard feels like a real acoustic piano
• 10 built-in instrument sounds and voices, including organ, vibraphone and strings
• Includes input for headphones
• Ability to set maximum volume
• Does not require tuning
