Our 16th annual Barrie Dragon Boat Festival was held on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Despite the rainy weather and rough conditions, teams were in high spirits and the festival was another great success!

The 16th annual Barrie Dragon Boat Festival is coming up on Saturday, August 25! Join us at Heritage Park for all day fun including exciting races, kids activities, local vendors, and a craft beer and wine garden with live entertainment.

The Barrie Public Library board is pleased to announce that Lauren Jessop has been selected as the Library’s new Chief Executive Officer. Lauren joined the Barrie Public Library in December 2016 as the Director of Customer Experience, and has been serving as Acting co-CEO since March.
