October is Canadian Library Month, and October 16 - 22 is Ontario Public Library Week! During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in the lives of people in Canada.

This fall the Barrie Public Library is happy to open our doors to a selection of children’s programs at the new Holly Community Library! Check out the details for the cool October events in store for you and the kids. 

Our Holly Community Library has begun in phases - we opened our doors on August 5, celebrated our Grand Opening on September 10, and now? We're reading to start kids programming! 

The Barrie Public Library is set to celebrate everything cultural with Ontario Culture Days this fall! An exciting variety of programs and events featuring community partners will be offered from September 23 to October 16, 2022.
