Alice in Wonderland is a movie about a nineteen year old girl named AliceKingsleigh, who finds this unordinary land filledwith magical creatures.I rate this movie a 10/10 because in my personal opinion I find this film to be beautifullycinematic. In the beginning when Alice enters the land, it looks cold, sad and cloudy. I feelthat Tim Burton did that on purpose to portray the anger and darkness of the queen ofhearts’ personality. Another reason I would like to add is that the makeup and costumeswere out of this world. Mad Hatter's look was caused by mercury poisoning. Back when hatmakers used mercury, those people breathed it in and it caused your skin to pale. I alsonoticed that the makeup was used to represent his moods. For example, dark colours whenhe is uncontrollably talking. The plot itself was very entertaining. Alice finds herself in a situation where she doesnt knowwhat she wants in life and who she is as a person. This movie made me feel less lonelybecause I could really connect with the characters, especially Alice because of howindependent she is and how confident a person she grew to be. She undergoes womeninequality from the generation she is in. She is told to wear proper things, she is told to marrya man for business purposes only and in wonderland, she is told that she must slay a giantmonster. By the end of the movie, she learns how to express her feelings towards thosemassive life changing events. In conclusion, This movie was really fun to watch. It shows how difficult growing up can be. Irecommend this movie to be seen by people who are in their midst, childhood and up. It's afascinating movie from the beginning to end and I would love to watch it a million times over.
