The Super Mario Bros movie, a colorful and ambitious adaptation of the popular video game franchise, offers an exciting journey into the Mushroom Kingdom that is sure to delight fans of all ages. The plot of the movie follows Mario (Voiced by Chris Pratt), who after being transported to the Mushroom Kingdom, has to save his brother Luigi (Voiced by Charlie Day) from the hands of Bowser (Voiced by Jack Black). As a fan of the Mario games, I had high hopes for the film, and I'm happy to say that this film certainly did not disappoint. It's an amazing representation of the Mario franchise put into a fun and energetic movie.

One of the film's standout features is its environments. From the Mushroom Kingdom to the depths of the Dark Lands, every place is brought to life with vibrant colors and attention to detail. The world of the Mario games is translated perfectly to the big screen, creating an immersive experience that feels both nostalgic yet fresh at the same time. I personally loved how many of the locations in the film were nods to the different games. This, along with all the other references are what make the film enjoyable for both younger and older audiences. Something that always makes the games in the Mario franchise complete is the music, and I was so happy to see that the movie included so many of the most iconic pieces of music from the games onto the big screen.

The Super Mario Bros Movie delivers plenty of heartwarming moments and thrilling action sequences to keep audiences entertained from start to finish. I feel that Chris Pratt and Charlie Day, combined with the phenomenal animation from Illumination Studios did a great job of bringing the Mario Brothers to life. Anya Taylor-Joy was impressive as Princess Peach, who seems like a pretty different character from the games, with her portrayal adding depth and personality. My personal favorite character in the movie has to be Bowser, because of how well Jack Black played the part. I don’t think there could have been a more fitting person for the role. Although the plot isn’t the most complex, that doesn’t take away from the movie because it isn’t very complex in the games either.

In conclusion, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is an absolute masterpiece, combining nostalgic elements, amazing performances, and stunning visuals into a great movie adaptation of the beloved franchise. Whether you're a hardcore Mario expert or simply seeking a fantastic family film, this movie is an absolute must-watch.
