Descendants is a musical Disney movie directed by Kenny Ortega. In this magical world, villains are split apart from the princes and princesses. The villains live in the Isle of the Lost and the royals live in Auradon. The movie stars Mal (Dove Cameron), daughter of Maleficent and her friends, Evie (Sofia Carson), daughter of the Evil Queen, Carlos (Cameron Boyce), son of Cruella De Vil, and Jay (Booboo Stewart), son of Jafar. In Aurodon Ben (Mitchell Hope) son of Belle and the Beast is going to take the throne and be king during his 16th birthday. So, for his first move as king, he wants to bring 4 kids from the Isle to see if they can change and be good like them. When the 4 heard that they were coming to Auradon their parents told them that they had to get the Fairy God Mother's wand to break down the barrier and free everyone from the Isle. I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars because it has hilariously funny moments and gives us a really beautiful message on the fact that everyone has good inside them. I also really enjoyed their songs and thought that each of them also really helped show what they were feeling and held great messages in the lyrics themselves. I would recommend this movie to all ages just because it was specifically meant for a younger audience it'll be easy for them to relate.
