To All the Boys I've Loved Before is a romantic film directed by Susan Johnson. It stars Lara Jean (Lana Condor), your typical high school girl but she has a small secret. She has written letters to all the boys she's ever had a crush on and keeps them in a small box in her closet. One day out of the blue during gym class, Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo), one of her crushes approaches her, at first it is awkward for the two of them but after a little while they reach an agreement. They would try to fake date each other. This is because Peter used to date Lara Jean's cousin, Gen (Emilija Baranac) and Peter is trying to make her jealous, and Lara Jean is doing it so that one of the guys she had a crush on didn't think that she still had a crush on him. They continue this fake dating for a little while until they start developing real feelings for each other. Also, during this time Gen is trying everything in her power to make sure that Lara Jean doesn't stay with Peter because she's jealous. I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars because it's a cutesy and light-hearted movie. I would recommend it for girls who are over the age of 14 because a younger audience would most likely have a harder time relating to it.
