Welcome to 2024, Barrie! We are excited for a new year with many opportunities for learning and discovery. Here are 10 ways you can make the most of 2024 with the library!

Family Literacy Day takes place every January 27^th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. 

The Barrie Public Library is excited to announce we have reached a membership milestone, welcoming 12,000 new members so far this year. 

Beginning in January members of the Barrie Public Library will have access to a new resource called Transparent Language. The online language learning platform has courses for over 100 languages!
