On Monday, December 14, the Simcoe-Muskoka Region will move to the RED - Control Zone. Both locations remain open for browsing, borrowing, computer use, bookable spaces and more services including self-serve printing and Wi-Fi.

For those who aren't comfortable entering our spaces, Express Pick-up is available 7 days a week for low-contact curbside pickup of your items.

We've designed our services and spaces to be low-contact so staff and the community remain safe. To help everyone stay safe, please:

Before you enter the library:

  • Wear a face covering that covers your nose, mouth and chin
  • Provide name and contact information for contact tracing
  • Answer COVID-19 screening questions
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer
  • Return items using the outdoor return slots

While you are in the library:

  • Continue wearing your face covering
  • Maintain 2m physical distance from others
  • No eating or drinking
  • Limit your stay to under 60 minutes
  • No social gatherings
  • Bookable spaces are limited to 2 people

In addition to the measures listed above, we are limiting the number of patrons in our buildings to 50 at a time, which allows for everyone to maintain physical distancing. Returned items are quarantined before being checked in and may stay on your account for up to 7 days.

For more information on our services being offered, visit our Library Reopening page.
