Hades is a game that was made by Supergiant Games and is an outstanding indie game. The period that is set is in the 18th century BC and is based on Greek mythology. It adds compelling storytelling with addictive gameplay that keeps you playing for hours.

Hades is a rouge-like action game that follows the main character Zagreus, the son of the god of the underworld, on his quest to escape his father’s realm. Each attempt to escape is an exciting journey filled with dynamic, diverse weaponry, and strategic decision-making. The gameplay loop is very satisfying, and all levels are generated differently ensuring that all levels are different every time making the game, not as repetitive.

One of the game's key features is its fascinating narrative. As Zagreus interacts with the many casts of characters, players are welcome to a rich tapestry of Greek mythology, brimming with humor and emotional depth. The writing to Hades is outstanding, drawing players deeper into the world with every conversation you have.

Visually, "Hades" is a work of art. The hand-drawn animations and vibrant art style bring the game's world to life in stunning detail. From Tartarus's fiery depths to Elysium's celestial beauty, each environment is a feast for the eyes.

Complementing the gameplay and visuals is a phenomenal soundtrack by Darren Korb. With its variety of rock, jazz, and electronic elements, the music elevates every moment, increasing the battle tension and enhancing the emotional impact of key story beats.

In conclusion, Hades is in a league of its own in game design and storytelling. With its addictive gameplay, fascinating narrative, stunning visuals, and unforgettable soundtrack, it is a must-play title that will keep players coming back for more.  Rating 5/5.
