The book is a work of fantasy. It tells the story of Morgan and Eli, two Aboriginal foster children, and their experiences. Like Morgan, her journey is emotional, difficult, heartbreaking, relatable, and crucial. This book has a lot of information and details that can educate us. For instance, Eli spared the wolf's life by preventing the bear from murdering it. As a result, the wolf chose to give his life at the last possible second to drive the guy back off the cliff and save Eli and the others. To aid readers in understanding the plot, the book opens with a map and a translation between the two languages.
