Musical Instrument Library
Our Musical Instrument Library includes guitars, keyboards, violins, viola, ukulele, and mandolin. We also have 'learn-to-play' books, DVDs and digital resources available to get you started. Check out our Musical Instruments.
Please note: borrowers are responsible for tuning items, as any tuning may be lost in transit. Please see our Helpful Links on how to tune string instruments.
How to Borrow
Musical Instruments can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks. If there are no Holds on an instrument, you may renew up to 3 times. You can place instruments on hold and choose to pick them up at any Barrie Public Library location. Limit of two “Library of Things” items per card holder.
How to Return
Musical Instruments can be returned to any Barrie Public Library location during library hours of operation. While we no longer have late fees, if the item is damaged or lost a replacement fee will be charged to the borrower's account.
