While February 2024 marks the 29^th anniversary of Black History Month in Canada, we are committed to recognizing the importance of Black history 365 days of the year.

Say ‘Hello Winter’ with the Barrie Public Library! In partnership with the City of Barrie, we will be at Winterfest, The February Blues Festival, and Nature in Winter.

Barrie Public Library is excited to announce the launch of the BPL Leaders & Innovative Teens (LIT) Youth United Speaker Series. Speakers will be hosted at our library locations from the end of January to the beginning of March.
