Say ‘Hello Winter’ with the Barrie Public Library! In partnership with the City of Barrie, we will be at Winterfest, The February Blues Festival, and Nature in Winter.  

Read on to learn more about where you can find us this February!   

Winterfest 

Join us during Winterfest at Heritage Park on February 3rd from 10 am to noon for our Winterfest Trolls Character Party Storytime. Enjoy stories, sing-a-longs, and Dream Party Troll Character activities. Get ready to dance in the snow, with the Trolls!  

The February Blues Festival  

Enjoy the slow tempo and strong rhythm of the Blues - live in the library. Artists will be at all three of our locations from February 2nd to February 4th.

Nature in Winter 

Join us in celebrating the beauty of Nature in Winter at Sunnidale Park and Dorian Parker Centre! This family-friendly event on February 17th is filled with indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. We will be on site from 11 am to 2 pm with Family Day activities including birdwatching, snow painting, story-walks, crafts, and more!  

After Nature in Winter, you will find the Trolls at Painswick Library from 2 - 3 pm for the Trolls Take Over, followed by the Trolls World Tour Movie from 3 - 4:30 pm.
