This year's National Volunteer Week theme is The Value of One, The Power of Many. We're celebrating the value of one person sharing their passions and giving their time to the Barrie Public Library, and the power of many volunteers promoting inclusion, education and literacy to an entire community.

On Friday, April 16, the province announced an extended Stay-at-Home Order and stricter measures. Both Barrie Public Library buildings will remain closed to in-person visits. However, patrons will continue to be able to pick-up holds at the front entrances on a drop-in basis or by scheduling an Express Pick-up appointment.
