Dyslexia Awareness Month

Each October, Canadians celebrate Dyslexia Awareness Month. This year’s theme is 'RAISING THE VOLUME', and encourages people to learn about and support those with dyslexia. You can raise awareness by wearing red for the "Mark it Read" campaign, participating in local events and using the hashtags #markitreadfordyslexia and #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth on social media.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to honour First Nations, Inuit, and Métis survivors and their families and communities, and ensure the public commemoration of their history and the legacy of residential schools.

InterLibrary Loans Suspended Due to Canada Post Strike

September 26, 2025

On September 25, CUPW announced they were launching a national strike, shutting down Canada Post operations across the country. InterLibrary Loans will be suspended for the duration of the strike.
