With food security continuing to be a concern in our community, Barrie Public Library is hosting a food drive for the Barrie Food Bank this holiday season.
From December 1 to January 31, food collection bins will be available at all three Barrie Public Library branch locations for visitors and staff to deposit non-perishable food items.
Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation, please visit the Food Bank’s donation page. While donations of all kinds are appreciated, some of the Food Bank’s most needed items include:
- Baby Formula
- Children’s Lunch snacks
- Cereal
- Beef Jerky
- Ensure/Protein Shakes
- Feminine products
- Diapers (sizes 4-6)
