We cannot believe it has already been 1 year since we opened the doors of our Holly Library!
With 24,957 checkouts, 4252 members who call Holly their home branch (2899 of which are new members to the Barrie Public Library), it's safe to say this new location has made a splash in its first year.
"We are thrilled with the response from the Holly community,” said Darcy Glidden, Manager of Community Libraries. “They have embraced the new location and our programming, not to mention our Summer Reading Club numbers have wildly surpassed expectations. Holly is a small but mighty location! We have filled a major gap in the community, and we look forward to our second year."
Holly has an amazing range of collections, services, spaces, and programs. With over 30,000 titles for kids, teens and adults, there is a massive selection of brand-new books, movies, and magazines you can borrow. We also have laptops you can use while you're here, a printer and copier, workspaces, a bookable meeting room, and a kids area.
