Skyfire is a film directed by Simon West, and it takes place in China. The film is about a young girl who invents a volcanic warning system.  She installed the system at the volcano where her mother shockingly died. Many years later, the island with the volcano has now become a theme park. Everything turned to chaos as soon as the volcano started to rumble. So, now it is a battle against time to save innocent people on the island and how arrogance can take its course.

Since her mother died in a volcano, Li (Hannah Quinlivan) became interested in studying volcanoes.  Her mother suffocated through volcanic ash, as her father barely survived but managed to. This incident has resulted in an intense relationship with her father because she is mad that he couldn’t save her. Along the way, she has made friends with other scientists who are also studying volcanoes which have led to them working together to save people who are in need.

It is a fantastic film that will keep you at the edge of your seat at all times. This film makes you go through all the emotions such as fear, empathy, love, and anger. I would recommend this movie to people who love action-packed movies and volcanoes. In conclusion, I would give this movie a 4.5/5 mainly because of its first-class acting and engaging storyline.  All are fine, except that I do not think that lava flows on land that fasts
