Heartstopper Volume 4

This comic book was a very good read and explained many topics throughout the story. Volume 4, continues with Nick and Charlie's relationship and how it is progressing. Charlie wants to tell Nick that he loves him but he doesn't know how to say it. Many exciting and heartfelt events lead up to the exciting ending this book brings. Heartstopper includes an amazing love story that can help many lgbtq people with their identities and figuring out who they are and that it is okay to express who they are as a person. There are not many books that include LGBTQ love stories but, Heartstopper is definitely one of the best that are out there. My favourite part of the book is the way Alice Oseman illustrates the pages and drawing and makes everything feel like you are experiencing the story yourself. The story is extremely well written and will have you on the edge of what exciting thing will happen next. Learning and adventuring through Charlie's struggles and life issues gives good understanding on the topic of mental health and really gives consideration for those who struggle with a mental illness. I would recommend this novel for people who enjoy comics and love stories. This is because all four of these books are comics and they all are based around Nick and Charlie's relationship. Their ups and downs, when they first got together, and when they first liked each other, were all interesting parts of their lives to read about. I am very glad I read all the books and the show and I am very excited for the next season to come. I 100% recommend reading this book, definitely one of my favourite reads.
