The book I read is called “A Man & His Cat.” written by Umi Sakurai and I have read volume 7 of this book. My name is Lani, a student in grade 10 and I will introduce this book to you today!! The plot of this book is the story of daily life and small happening with a man who lost his wife and a cat named Fukumaru.  In volume 7, Fukumaru and the man get visited by an old friend of the man with the abandoned cat he found on the street. this guest was visiting a man from overseas and asks the man if he could take care of these cats while he is staying in Japan. This guest was also the memory of the wife man had lost and the staying of the guest and the cats reminded him of a fun memory with his guest and the wife!  In my opinion, this book doesn’t make you like I want to know what is happening in the book next or make you excited to read the next part, but this book gives you a more heartwarming and kind feeling and also makes you calm by looking at the life of Fukumaru and the man. I would rate this book five out of five and I would recommend this book to any person who loves heartwarming stories and people who love a cat or have a cat in their family because this book also shows small happenings that happen with a cat
