There's nothing better than a personalized, home-made gift! Get creative and make something special this year with the Cricut Explore Air 2. Now bookable for one-hour time slots, you can pick up your materials and come in to the Library to get crafting. 

For those not familiar with Cricut, it's a cutting machine that allows you to create amazing DIY projects. From cards to custom T-shirts to home decor, Cricut makes it easy to realize your creative vision. 

Book a Cricut

Book a Cricut machine for a one-hour time slot at both locations during all open Library hours. Bring in your Cricut paper, vinyl, or cardstock and get crafting! Cricut supplies can be purchased at Michaels and Wal-Mart. 

You're welcome to design your project in advance or do it all in-Library on our iPad. The Library has a Cricut Access membership which provides stock photos and projects on our iPad that normally have a fee. See availability and book your Cricut.

Cricut Coach

Not sure where to start?  Book a Cricut Coach! This one-on-one instruction will show you the basics of how to use the Cricut and help you get started on your project. Register for a Cricut Coach session

Painswick: Wednesdays from 11:30am-12:30pm
Downtown: Wednesdays from 3-4pm

Project Inspiration

The options of what you can do with a Cricut are endless! Need a little inspiration?

Vinyl project ideas:

  • Single colour vinyl decals
  • Personalize things with vinyl like mugs, water bottles
  • Create holiday signs or decals
  • Personalize your spice rack, pantry or stemware

Paper project ideas:

  • Paper cards: holiday, thinking of you, get well, thank you
  • Gift tags 
  • Paper banners
  • Party decorations and favours 
  • Wedding decorations, table seating cards, or gifts
