March Break is almost here! Are you looking for fun ideas for the kiddos, or maybe for yourself? With so much to do, our programs and book lists are sure to keep you busy all week long. Check out our interactive online flyer for the week's full event listings.
We'll blast off in to a galaxy of information beginning on March 11th! Drop in and explore the solar system inside the Ontario Planetarium's Mobile Dome. Enjoy a tour through solar system by orbiting the planets, and then journey all the way out to the outer rim of the Milky Way. Walk-in registration is available only on the day of the event. There will be a new session every 30 minutes. Children must be accompanied by an adult. You will also be able to visit the Mobile Dome at Painswick on March 12th.
Can you make it through the mushroom kingdom? Visit Holly on Tuesday, March 12 from 10-11am for the Mario Galaxy Obstacle Course! Look for Power Stars, Fire Flowers, and more!
Meanwhile, an Out Of This World puppet show will happen at the Downtown Library on March 12 from 10:00-10:30 am. Later in the afternoon join us for some organized chaos as we have fun with crafts during Crafting Chaos Downtown from 2:30-3:30 pm.
The fun continues at all three BPL locations on March 13th. Sing & Play with children's performer Russ Clayton at Holly from 10:00-11:00 am.
You can build your own Mars Lander at the Downtown Library from 10-11:00 am. Later that afternoon enjoy a hands-on learning experience all about snakes with the experts from Sciencesational SSSnakes! The Stupendous Snakes will visit our Painswick Branch from 11:00am - 12:00 pm.
We'll be showing Scott Pilgrim vs. The World on the big screen at Painswick on March 14th! Dress as your favourite character, grab your friends and join us for Teen Movie Night!
