All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban is about six teens who are locked in a room. No way to escape other than to kill one of themselves using a syringe filled with poison left on the table. They are allowed one hour to decide who to kill before all five of them will be blown to smithereens by a bomb.

The story bounces back and forth, flashbacks from the past revealing secrets about each of the characters as the six students try to figure out who was behind all this. The way the story flows is a bit confusing at the beginning, but it gets more and more gripping as the story progresses. The unique layout of the chapters was one of my favourite parts of reading this story.

This book scores high on my to-read list because of how each twist and turn brings about a new wave of suspicion and secrets. Each chapter holds something unpredictable so that you can't help but keep reading. I had a lot of trouble putting it down.

The novel deals with a few more mature topics, like murder and drugs, and may have some swearing, but otherwise, it's an engaging book for grade 7 and older. I'd also recommend it to people who enjoy mysteries, action, plot twists, and a little bit of romance.

My only piece of critique, however, is the ending. It was shocking and a huge plot twist. Usually, I like being able to reread books, despite knowing how the story wraps up because I enjoy seeing everything leading up to the grand finale. I find it fun to spot the few hints within the story that the author slipped in to foreshadow a bit before the answers are revealed.
