Paper Towns
Directed By: Jake Schreier Reviewed by: Josh, Grade 9
I rate this movie a 4/5.
This movie is based on the book Paper Towns by John Green. The book and movie are about a group of friends who become
worried about another of their friends. (Please consider reading my previous review on the book). Compared to the book, there is far less introduction to the
characters in the movie, than you read about in the book. The characters in the movie are portrayed almost exactly as I imagined them from reading the book. The characters make the movie very engaging and entertaining to watch.

The main characters are Quentin (aka “Q”), Ben, Margo Roth Spigleman, Marcus (aka Radar), and Lacey. The movie was way more fast paced than the book and
skipped lots of details. The movie started off with a little backstory about Q and Margo when they are younger, it then skips to when they are in High School.
With a couple weeks left before Q, Ben, Margo, Radar, and Lacey graduate, Margo goes missing. Everyone becomes worried about Margo and her well being and decide to try and find her. Will they find clues that could lead to her location? Watch the movie to find out.

The movie has a bit of bad language, but not as much as the book did. The movie was funny and engaging with a good plot. I really recommend reading the book first, as there is a lot more information on the characters and overall detail. It does not ruin your enjoyment of the movie by already knowing the storyline. I hope you
choose to watch this movie, and that you enjoy it as much as I did.
