Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi Review

Rated 5/5

After the war, Juliette finds herself to be the only one standing from Omega Point. Everyone she cared deeply about is missing or dead. With a newfound motive, Juliette makes it her goal to kill Anderson, the person who has ruined everything for her and caused the death of her loved ones. But she cannot do it alone. She must team up with someone she has hated ever since she has met him, Warner. But as she spends time with Warner, their relationship improves as truths are revealed and new abilities are found.

“Ignite Me” by Tahereh Mafi is the third book in the “Shatter Me” series. This is my favourite book in the series so far because of Juliette’s relationship with Warner. In each chapter, I could see development in their relationship. Truths were also revealed as to why certain actions were done toward Juliette. Although I knew their relationship was going to improve, I’ve never understood the reasoning behind Warner’s actions. Now that it has been explained, it all makes sense. The short chapters in this series also helped me keep reading as I find long chapters to be tiring and boring to read. Overall, the whole plot of the story in this book was interesting and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series which is “Restore Me”. I can’t predict how this story will go on from here so I’m excited to read it! “Shatter Me” is one of my favourite series so far and I recommend it to people who like romance, dystopian, and science fiction
