The collaboration album Her Loss by Drake (a Canadian rapper/singer) and 21 savage (a Atlantan rapper) officially released on November 4th, 2022 and quickly rose to the top as the top streamed album on the charts. But how good is it really? The album almost faces the complete opposite audience as CLB, while also relating to it in an odd way. I feel as if the album's main audience is teen boys and young men who are already familiar with Drake and 21, but are wanting a new piece of their styles. The album is the first time I have really seen Drake take more of a pop approach to the music, which ties perfect to the rap style that 21 utilizes. songs such as on BS and rich flex made major moves through the mainstream playlists of many people, even with a different style of flow on each track. All of the songs on the album represent and show Drake's well known versatility and 21's consistent style of rap. The album was even nominated for a grammy in 2023 as rap album of the year, showing how even more than a year later the album still had a lot of replay value left in it. Again, I would seriously recommend this album generally to an audience of 13 to 32 year old men in general, but even outside of this target I have seen a lot of people thoroughly enjoy the product that these two artists have put out. I would give this album a solid 8.2/10 stars.
