Book Donations

*We are currently not accepting donated items due to the COVID-19 pandemic*

During normal operating times, we are happy to accept book donations that meet our guidelines listed below!

We can accept up to 3 boxes of books at a time at either location. Please examine each book to make sure it meets our donation guidelines; by only donating materials that we can accept, you are saving us the precious time and resources required to handle and dispose of unusable material.

If you have potential donations that fall outside of the guidelines (including donations in languages other than English), please contact our Volunteer office at 705-728-1010 x 2266.

Downtown donations: Please drop your materials to staff at our delivery door located at the rear of the building off of McDonald Street. As we are tight on space, the Café volunteers will not accept donations at the counter.

What can I do with materials the library cannot accept?
