International Tea Day - May 21

International Tea Day was first designated by the UN on December 21, 2019 as a day to be observed. The season of tea production begins in May in most tea-producing countries. The Day will promote and foster collective actions to implement activities in favour of the sustainable production and consumption of tea and raise awareness of its importance in fighting hunger and poverty.
