11-11:30am: LuAna's Bookshelf Reading. Heidi-Marie raises money for schools all over the world by working with school children to tell and illustrate their stories. Proceeds from book sales go back to these schools which are in need of funding.

11:30-12pm: Duncan Taylor, teacher at Nantyr Shores of the Research & Design program, he will share how he is creating a student maker mindset and the importance of making in education. Research & Design is a full-day interdisciplinary program for grade 11 students that is offered at Nantyr Shores Secondary School. The program is project-based and encourages academic level students to better understand physics, math, computer science, and technical design by becoming makers rather than just receivers.

12:00-1:45pm: ArtWonderfull Live Pop-up Painting. Vote in the morning from a selection of paintings, which you want to see made. Have a chance to win this door prize.

2-3pm: BRIX meetup. Learn what a makerspace is and about recent progress of the Barrie Region Innovation Xchange's community makerspace and how you can become involved.
