Connect with local authors during our annual Local Author Book Market at our Painswick location (48 Dean Ave.) on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10am - 4pm. Join us to meet and hear book readings by local authors on our main stage, and buy their latest titles in time for your holiday gift giving and reading.

Book Market Schedule

10-11:30 & 2-3:30: Kids Authors

Meet young local authors and ask them how you might get a book published too! From 10-11:30am, we'll feature picture book readings on the picture book stage, and teen readings on the main stage.

10-11:30 & 2-3:30: Adult & Teen Authors 

Enjoy local author readings on the main stage. Learn about your next great read and then go buy or borrow it!

Please Note: We strive to find a balance to provide BPL Local Author Book Market attendees with the most diverse variety of authors and genres. We receive lots of interest and aim to ensure new authors have opportunities to participate. Authors who have participated in recent BPL local author events may not be considered to ensure everyone has the opportunity to connect with our community of readers.
