Brainfuse HelpNow

Brainfuse HelpNow connects people who want to learn with experts who love to teach! This amazing resource includes LIVE online tutoring for Kindergarten up to post-secondary, Adult Learner resources, test prep, and more.

Devices: Can be accessed from a web browser or the BrainFuse mobile app. 

Mobile App

Download the Brainfuse app to take learning on the go! The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. You need a Brainfuse Username and Password to sign in to the mobile app. Discover these by signing into HelpNow in a web browser on your computer, tablet or phone. 

Discover Your Username and Password

  1. Log into HelpNow using this link: Go to HelpNow Website
  2. Click your username at the top right of the screen
  3. Click My Account
  4. Then click Edit
    Edit button - located in the Student Information box in the centre of the screen.
  5. Your username will be displayed on the screen and you can create your password. Use these to log into the Brainfuse Mobile App

Live Tutoring

LIVE tutoring is available daily from 2pm - 11pm. All BrainFuse tutors are screened and trained - they’re recruited from a diverse tutoring pool and include a mix of professional tutors, retired instructors, graduate students, and college faculty members. Over 80% of tutors have a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. in their field! 

For the full experience, select Tutoring With Audio from the Preferences menu before starting your sessions (screenshot below).

Welcome to lifelong learning! Whether you are going back to school, switching jobs, or just want to brush up on an academic skill, the Adult Learning Centre™ is here to help. 

Select 'Adult Learners' from the menu to access GED prep, Canadian Citizenship Test prep, resume assistance, Microsoft Office support, and Career Resources.  

SkillSurfer

SkillSurfer is a Learning Library that gives you access to read lessons, watch videos, take practice tests, and build your knowledge. With a wide range of amazing resources tied to the Ontario Curriculum, SkillSurfer includes:

  • lessons and practice tests for various subjects from Grade 3 to 12
  • practice EQAO or OSSLT tests

Language Lab

Connect with a language tutor for help with French and Spanish, available every day from 2 - 11pm! The Language Lab section also includes a Vocabulary Builder with games, quizzes, flashcards, and spoken pronunciations to help you learn a new language. 

Writing Lab

Get expert online writing assistance with Writing Lab! Upload your document and one of Brainfuse's writing experts will analyze it and send you helpful feedback on your writing style, language, and more.
