I grew up watching the Despicable Me movies, so rewatching Despicable Me 3 felt really nostalgic. I remember being interested and loving the Minions as a kid, and honestly, they’re just as hilarious now. This movie continues Gru’s story, but with a new twist—he finds out he has a twin brother, Dru, who is rich, energetic, and eager to be a villain like their dad. Gru, who’s trying to live a normal life with his family, is thrown back into action when Dru convinces him to do one last heist. Meanwhile, there’s a new villain, Balthazar Bratt, a former child star stuck in the ‘80s, who comes up with an over-the-top plan to take revenge on Hollywood.

The movie is packed with comedy, action, and adventure. The Minions, of course, steal every scene they’re in with their ridiculous antics. Balthazar Bratt is one of the most unique villains in the series—his obsession with ‘80s fashion, dance moves, and music makes him super entertaining. The action sequences are fast-paced and fun to watch, and the humor keeps the movie engaging from start to finish.

What I really liked about Despicable Me 3 was the focus on family. Gru and Dru’s sibling relationship is funny but also adds a heartwarming touch. The animation is also amazing—bright, colorful, and full of life.

Overall, this movie is a great watch for kids, but it’s also fun for teens and older fans who grew up with the series. It’s funny, exciting, and just a really enjoyable movie. Definitely a 5/5
