Book Title: Children of the Fox

Book Author: Sands, Kevin

Reviewer Name: Sammy

Reviewer Grade: Grade 8

Rating: 5 stars = Really Good

The Children of the Fox is a fantasy book by Kevin Sands about five kids, each with their own unique talents, who are brought together to attempt to commit the biggest heist in history. This book is like a cross between The Blackthorn-Key and Oceans 11. Lured by the chance of earning enough money to get them anything they could ever want or need; the five criminals are challenged with the task of stealing an artifact from the most powerful sorcerer in the city.

This book was amazing, and I totally enjoyed characters like Callan, and Foxtail. Callan is super smart, and he has an interesting past that you get to explore throughout the story. Foxtail doesn’t speak, but her ways for communication and cool personality really made me fall in love with her character. I would recommend this book to people who like books like The False Prince; books with great characters, character development, fantasy, and thievery.
