The book Shatter Me is a dystopian book that tells a story about a teenage girl that is living in complete isolation and has never experienced human touch. The author did a fabulous job of portraying the protagonists’ state of mind and how the circumstances have impacted the main character’s sanity. The author has a unique way of writing, there are lots of metaphors that she uses to describe the main character’s personality and how the main character views the world and herself. I liked the enemies to lovers plot with the characters, it kept me hooked. There wasn’t a dull moment in this book, it is pretty fast paced meaning that there’s always something occurring. The author’s writing style is easy to read, and the author does a great job having the the reader understand the scene of the book and understanding what the main character has been through. The author explored so many different issues and I was able to empathize with each character. I personally loved many of the characters in this book. The book was definitely a hard one to put down and I love how it wasn't slow or dull. If you are thinking about reading the Shatter Me Series. DO IT. I recommend this book for individuals who love dystopian style series and romance. It has an amazing plot as well as developing characters, and the writing is beautiful. Overall my favorite book ever a unique and thrilling series that's worth your time.
