Main Characters: Andy Meadows and Marnie Myers

Plot: Two cousins buy a tooth and start making wishes, but what they don’t know is that a dog wants it back, and will do anything to get it.

The author of this series of books, R.L Stine, has done an amazing job, blending horror with comedy, and he doesn’t really make them way too scary, which is why these books are perfect for children who take an interest in the horror genre. I honestly loved this book, and I’ve read it for the second time, the plot is so eye-catching, and the characters are wonderful, and i love how, for ever book of the Horrorland series, Stine puts in a little introduction before the present time, to make us as the reader, understand what happened before. There are even some tense moments in the book, like when Andy realizes that Marnie, his cousin, pretended that the tooth was her tooth and is getting everything she wants with it, and another was when the ghost hound came to Andy’s house for Andy to get revenge on Marnie. And there were even some scary moments too, one being when Jonathan Chiller, the man who gave the cousins the tooth, had told them a horrific backstory of the tooth, and when Andy searched up about the legend of the ghost hound, and found some terrible secrets. Also, in many of his Horrorland books, he puts a little portion of the upcoming story that you should read next, and it always ends with a cliffhanger, which makes you want to read more of his books. I recommend anyone who loves this genre to give this book a read.
