Adam Reed, a 2050 time-travelling pilot accidentally lands in 2022 during his illegal mission to search and rescue his wife, Laura, in 2018. In the 2022 time zone, he meets his 12-year-old self who always has something to say in any given situation, which constantly gets him in big trouble. Adult and young Adam work together to get through this mission. As much as adult Adam hates the idea of working with his puny and mouthy 12-year-old self, he has no choice because his injured body can’t access his stolen jet and needs his younger self’s DNA to access it. Unfortunately, Sorian (the antagonist), finds adult Adam before he heals completely which forces young Adam to help out adult Adam get away from her. They both work together to fight Sorian, complete their mission, and destroy time-travelling forever.
This movie was honestly hilarious. I mean I’m not really surprised that it was considering that the main character is Ryan Reynolds; his movies are always hilarious even if they’re supposed to be a serious genre. It kinda made it super weird for me to watch because several MCU actors were there, and the pairings didn’t feel so right. Probably except Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. It was like 13 going on 30 all over again, and it honestly made me really happy because I really liked seeing them act together. Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie, and it’s the type that I would most likely watch again randomly. I would recommend it to everyone because it's very entertaining, and it also contains a lot of action.
