Explore nature and experience the outdoors just beyond your backyard with a Wye Marsh Family Day Pass.
Providing free access to over 25km of woodland and wetland trails, featuring a floating boardwalk, an observation tower, wildlife blinds, and native wildflower gardens, the Family Day Pass allows up to 2 adults and 2 children a visit with endless opportunity.
The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is open all-seasons and is pet-friendly. Explore by foot, paddle, snowshoe or cross-country ski. While you’re there, enjoy a self-guided interpretive tour led by an Outdoor Educator.
How to Borrow
Wye Marsh Family Day Passes can be borrowed for up to one week. Limit of two “Library of Things” items per card holder. You can place a Wye Marsh Family Day Pass on hold and choose to pick it up at any Barrie Public Library location.
The Downtown location owns a Grab & Go copy of the Wye Marsh Family Day Pass that is strictly available on a first-come, first-served basis and is NOT renewable. For availability, please inquire with staff at the Service Desk.
How to Return
Wye Marsh Family Day Passes can be returned to any Barrie Public Library location during library hours of operation. While we no longer have late fees, if the item is damaged or lost a replacement fee of $42 will be charged to the borrower's account.
