Tennis Kits
You’ve watched matches on TV and maybe even went to the Rogers Cup in person – are you ready to try tennis yourself? Borrow a Tennis Kit from the library and grab a friend to have some fun on the court! Use our Helpful Links below to find the nearest tennis courts, learn the rules, and watch a tutorial on how to play.
An Adult Tennis Kit includes:
- 2 Tennis Rackets (27” frame)
- 3 Tennis Balls
- Carrying bag
Do you have a little one who wants to test out the sport? We also have a Junior Kit!
A Junior Tennis Kit includes:
- 1 Tennis Racket (19” frame)
- 2 Low-Compression Tennis Balls
- Carrying bag
How to Borrow
Tennis Kits can be borrowed for up to one week. Limit of two “Library of Things” items per card holder. You can place a Tennis Kit on hold and choose to pick it up at any Barrie Public Library location.
How to Return
Tennis Kits can be returned to any Barrie Public Library location during library hours of operation. While we no longer have late fees, if the item is damaged or lost a replacement fee of up to $96 will be charged to the borrower's account.
