Gardening Kits

Get your start with working in your garden with a Gardening Kit from our Library of Things!

Discover the wonder of building a garden and watching plants grow. Take some time to smell the flowers and learn which plants are native to the soil here in Barrie, which are invasive, what a pollinator garden is and how to build one, and which plants you can eat!

Gardening Kits are available for everyone of all ages; additionally, we have Junior Gardening Kits with little tools for little hands. Introduce your young child to the wonders of your own backyard!

Each Gardening Kit includes:

  • Gardening Tool Tote
  • Knee Pads
  • Book

Each Junior Gardening Kit Includes:

  • Gardening Tool Tote
  • Gardening Apron
  • Basic tools (trowel, fork, rake, shovel)
  • Watering Can
