Button Maker Kits
Whether you’re getting ready for a party, or just want to have fun with friends, start customizing and making your own personalized buttons with a Button Maker Kit.
Each Button Maker Kit includes:
- ChiButtons Pro Badge Machine
- 37mm (1 ½”) round mould
- Handheld paper cutter (paper cutting size 48.8mm for 37mm buttons)
- Supplies to make 10 pin-back buttons
- Carrying case
Please note: We provide the machine and the paper cutter, along with the supplies to make up to 10 buttons. If you’re looking to do some intense button-making, make sure to source all the supplies needed for the quantity you desire. See our Helpful Links for reference on what supplies are needed.
How to Borrow
Button Maker Kits can be borrowed for up to one week. Limit of two “Library of Things” items per card holder. Button Maker Kits are only available as Grab & Go items and cannot be placed on Hold; they are strictly available on a first-come, first-served basis. Button Maker Kits are available at all library locations.
How to Return
Button Maker Kits can be returned to any Barrie Public Library location during library hours of operation. While we no longer have late fees, if the item is damaged or lost a replacement fee of up to $293 will be charged to the borrower's account.

- Supplies Required:
- Round Plastic Mylar Cover (48.8mm to fit 37mm button)
- Round Metal Front (37mm)
- Round Metal Back (37mm)
- Your printed (or hand-drawn) design (use the Handheld Paper Cutter included in the Kit to cut out your design)
