Audiobooks
Why pay for audiobooks when you can get them for free!? Use your free library card to borrow audiobooks for all ages and interests.
Listening to audiobooks from the library is easy! You don't need a special device to enjoy them. You can stream or download on your smartphone or tablet, or stream from any web browser like Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. In order to stream, you will need to be connected to the internet.
How do I find Audiobooks from the Library?
You can find all of our apps and resources to listen to audiobooks on the 'Listen' page of our Digital Library. Here are four of our most popular Audiobook resources:
cloudLibrary is our main provider of Audiobooks and eBooks. You can choose from tens of thousands of audiobooks, from mystery, thriller, fantasy, and romance to biographies, self-improvement and other non-fiction titles. If you search through the cloudLibrary app, you'll see more titles than if you search through our catalogue.
The borrowing period is 3 weeks, at which time the title will automatically be checked back in. If you do finish early, we ask that you check it back in manually as it will free it up for the next person in line.

Stream or download audiobooks directly to your computer or mobile device. Hoopla also contains music, movies, eBooks, and TV shows. You can borrow up to 4 titles each month and there is no wait list. This limit is in place as Hoopla has a different pricing structure than cloudLibrary. With cloudLibrary, we purchase a copy of an eBook which includes a certain amount of 'borrows'. With Hoopla, we are charged per borrow, and it is a substantial cost for the library.
Borrow titles individually or use a BingePass to gain access to a whole collection using just one borrow.
