We cannot believe it has already been 1 year since we opened the doors of our Holly Library! With 24,957 checkouts, 4252 members who call Holly their home branch (2899 of which are new members to the Barrie Public Library), it's safe to say this new location has made a splash in its first year. 

Back by popular demand, Barrie Public Library and Tim Hortons have teamed up once again to bring back our annual Little Paddlers Colouring Contest in honour of our upcoming Dragon Boat Festival!

The wait is over! We're excited to announce the launch of Simcoe Reads 2023, a cover-to-cover fun-filled competition for adults! 

We are embarking on a multi-phase, multi-year project to refresh the Downtown library. We want to hear from you about what you value about the Downtown library and to gather any suggestions for improvements.
