As of September 22, 2021, proof of vaccination will be required in select higher-risk indoor settings, including indoor dining, bars, and concerts. The vaccine certificate system exempts children who are ineligible for vaccines (currently those born in 2010 and later in Ontario) and provides for personal medical exemptions.

Public libraries are not currently included on the list of settings in which proof of vaccination is required. The Stay Safe Guidelines for Step 3, including masks, self-screening, capacity and physical distancing, continue to apply. We will continue to monitor developments related to vaccination requirements, including provincial legislation and health unit guidelines, and will provide any updates through our website and social media channels.

See the province’s frequently asked questions for more information.

Print your vaccination receipt

Staff at both library locations can help you print your vaccine receipt - and we’ll waive the printing fee! Please note that while we do offer free printing of the receipts, we are unable to offer lamination services.

  1. Go to the province’s COVID-19 vaccination page to book your appointment or access your vaccine receipt
  2. Verify your identity and complete the form – you’ll need your green photo health card (OHIP)
  3. Download your receipt onto your smartphone, tablet, home computer or public computer at the library (the library has free Wi-Fi if you are using your own device)
  4. Print from a public computer at the library or print wirelessly from your device or home computer
  5. Let library staff know that you are printing a vaccination receipt and they will waive the fee

Book your vaccine appointment
