Seedy Saturday

Online Seedy Saturday at the Library

Join us online for Seedy Saturday throughout the month of March! Learn about creative landscaping, urban gardening, sustainability, pollinators and more through speaker sessions, DIY videos or by connecting with a local expert at our virtual Green Expo. We’re also launching our incredible Seed Library to help you get started with your garden!

Featured Speakers and Events:

All month long we have fun and informative programs about all things gardening and nature. From hands-on activities to try with your family, to tips and tricks on getting your garden growing, there is something for everyone. Visit our Events Calendar to see our full offering.

Seed Library

We’ve officially launched our Seed Library for the 2021 growing season! Residents can borrow up to 3 packets of seeds while supplies last. Fill out our Seed Library Request Form and include your top 5 picks from: cherry tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, carrots, lettuce, and savory. We will provide you with 3 of your top 5 choices from our available supply.

Our Seed Library supply is based on donations, and we welcome seed donations throughout the year! Please place your extra seeds in an envelope with the seed type, date the seeds were harvested or purchased, and your contact information. They can be dropped off at either library location.
