On January 12, the Provincial Government announced a state of emergency and stay-at-home orders that come into effect at 12:01am on Thursday, January 14.

Our library services remain unchanged with this announcement. Members can continue to place holds for physical books and movies and pick them up on a drop-in basis or by appointment. Returns are welcome using our outdoor return slots, and our Digital Library and online resources are available 24/7.

Public health guidelines must be followed when picking up your items, which include wearing a face covering, staying 2m (6ft) from others, and staying home if you are sick.

Picking Up New Items

  1. Visit our online catalogue and reserve books and movies
  2. When you’re notified that your items are ready, either drop in to pick up your items, or book an Express Pick-up appointment within 7 days
